Friends of the Disabled Latin America (FRIDLA)

Dear Friends,

| Alberto and Judy Nunez |
We want to thank you for your prayers and financial support. You are co-laborers with us in the work to which God has called us. Your faithfulness and generous support has enabled us to reach thousands of families with the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ. Services for the disabled that began in Chile has now expanded to Peru and Bolivia. Ministry organizations have been set up in each country. It is estimated that approximately 10 % - 12 % of the population has a disability. We know that in some areas the percentage is higher. In many parts of Latin America, this segment of the population has been forgotten. Many are not able or just don't want to go out of their house. We have to seek them out in order to be able to help them. You are making this happen as a partner in our ministry. We need your help to tell others what the Lord is doing through FRIDLA in Latin America.
Please talk to friends, family or co-workers and inform them about our ministry. Print and copy these pages and pass them on. With the expansion of the ministry, volunteers are needed as well as more prayer warriors and financial partners.
Joyfully serving Him,
Your Co-laborers at FRIDLA
In Luke 14:15ff, where the parable of the great banquet is told, the servants of the master are commanded to "go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame," and then more emphatically to "make them come in, so that my house will be full."
This is a mandate that we at Friends of the Disabled Latin America take to heart. It is not enough to build ramps and widen doors; what is needed is a change of heart, a compassion for the disabled and a desire to seek them out and bring them into the church.
